Mayor Martin J. Walsh of Boston with my sister Lauren at the Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Convocation at Historic Twelfth Baptist Church, where he was the keynote speaker.
We gave him my article on violence and spoke to him briefly. He gave us his card and wrote the information for us to contact him that week. I believe he is a man and mayor of his word.
He did a good job speaking and spoke of his hopes for the city. He said we all have to work together to bring about effective change.
