I just had to share this from my granddaughter and what she told her dad tonight at the hospital.
Markel told his daughters Lauren and Marnier, "I hate that you girls have to see me this way. I am supposed to be strong and tough and able to take care of you."
Marnier said to her dad, "Dad, listen to me… Even in your weakness, you are the strongest dad and man I know. Strength doesn't come from muscles and looks, but from your determination and your faith in God. Dad, you are going to be okay. You know we LOVE you, RIGHT!"
Continue to pray for us, and especially for Lauren and Marnier, as they minister to their dad with their love and support.
